The locked and silent room…

“All the rooms in Quilter’s house constantly echoed with whispering stories, except for one. High on the top floor, behind a locked door, was a silent room. The Ghost had never been in it, and she had never seen Quilter go in either. Shining brightly from under the door, a dazzling light fascinated her. She longed to know what was inside, but didn’t like to ask. Perhaps it held a terrible secret, like the locked room in Bluebeard’s castle, or the attic in Jane Eyre. The Ghost had a fondness for dark tales…”

A little taster from Patchwork Lives. Come and find out what is in the locked and silent room tonight. All is revealed at Buxton’s United Reformed Church, in the Blue Room at 7.30pm.
